{niceness} saying thank you

I always deeply appreciate when someone does something nice for me and love to send out thank you notes. With all the online ways to communicate these days like email, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc., I find it refreshing to send a good old fashioned thank you note via snail mail. And, the people on the receiving end love it too! It's always a nice surprise to get something other than bills or advertisements in your mail box.
